The qualities and characteristics of a hero can easily be recognized by the positive impact they have on society and the people around them. Heroes come in different shapes and forms, big or small. In this article, I will introduce a hero that comes in a small, white, sometimes brown box; i.e. Biodegradable Food Containers.

It’s made from nature! Our hero product is made from plants, vegetables, trees, and can easily be broken down into its smallest component over a short time by microorganism when it is disposed of. The complete degradation process is also achieved without leaving any toxic residue. This process reduces pollution by 100% compared to traditional plastic containers.
Materials used in non-biodegradable food containers are costly whilst biodegradable products are more fuel-efficient and safe. Biodegradables take less time to manufacture, saving on resources, energy and money.
Composting biodegradable products can make the soil fertile, thereby boosting the nutrient content in food and crops that are needed for optimal human health. The reason for this is because the products are not made using artificial chemicals but from natural materials. The product materials decay and improve the soil’s water and nutrient retention which helps the growth of healthier plants with no need for pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
The preceding three points serve to show how impactable biodegradables are for the environment and also humanity. A simple choice in our takeout food containers can benefit this world tremendously.
